Well, my HP LIghtScribe drive decided to stop working. It won't even read a basic audio CD. Seriously, the thing is only about one year old. From what I have been reading of reviews of other LightScribe drives on NewEgg's website, they all seem to have one common problem - They stop working after 3 to 6 months of use. I wonder if the lightscribe technology is just flaky, and just not worth it.

What's also strange is I have a stack of CD-R's here that refuse to be recognized by David's or my computer DVD-RW drive, however they recognize fine in the laptop DVD-RW LightScribe drive. I just give up, really.

I just don't understand technology sometimes.

Now, this drive that was working won't burn a DVD-R. How Nice. It keeps spitting it back out at me, telling me there was a problem writing to the disk.

People just fucking don't understand. It's impossible for me to stay positive right now. I keep trying, but I just cannot. Yeah, I have a few times here and there where I am having fun or have a good time, but it's counteracted by the multiples of negative that happen, as if to punish me for enjoying something. I have painfully tried to seek the positive in my life, but it's proved difficult to find.

Life has turned me into a real bitter individual. No one understands that I am under so much stress right now. I need a job to pay bills, rent and other living expenses. I do not have health insurance because COBRA and ICHIP is too damn expensive and companies keep denying me coverage.

All you people with jobs, health insurance, financial stability, happy social lives, and surrounded by supportive people, you really don't know how good you have it. Just wait until you lose it all. I envy you. Life must be grand. You don't have to worry about not being able to afford your small luxuries like that cup of coffee in the morning, that video game, that DVD, that dinner out, that smart phone. You don't give a second thought to those less fortunate than you, do you? You don't understand that every thing that you buy feels like a punch in the gut to someone who is unable to afford something they want. You don't get told "put on your big girl pants and suck it up". You have friends that help you, not degrade you.

I don't sleep because I'm worried about everything. I don't have health insurance, and I'm if I get sick, I won't be able to go to the doctor.
I'd take the stress of my old job over what I have to deal with now. At least I had health insurance and a steady paycheck.

I'm so sick of being on the low end of life. Believe me, I'm trying to find the positive, but it's not hard to find when every turn you take shows you disappointment and rejection.

I know there are people out there that are far worse off than me, but that does not invalidate my hardship. Sorry but i;m very not happy/emo right now. I give the fuck up.
